Team Mates Matter: New in 2017

2017 is bringing a lot of exciting projects and changes to RIC, but it’s also bringing some new faces into the RIC team.

But before we welcome the newest faces, we want to take a moment to say goodbye to Andrew Breeden, our former carpentry assistant, who has moved on to Chicago. He will be greatly missed and in a short time he proved to be a dedicated and reliable worker. Best of luck in the Windy City, Andrew!

Back for More

Back for round two this year is past RIC carpenter, Brad Lowery! Brad is a good friend of ours, and we are happy to have his hard work ethic and superior carpentry skills back on the team. Welcome back, Brad!

New in 2017

We are also welcoming two new faces: Raya Nickerson and Pat Madden. Raya is a graduate of VCU’s Craft and Material Studies Program. She brings both an intellectual and hands-on energy to our team. Curious, but also ready to dive into a task, Raya is a great addition to our team and we’re excited to see her continue to grow her skills.

Pat Madden comes to us from a long career in the foodservice industry, but despite a different background, he shares the same love of hands-on work and the pride of a job well done that everyone on our team has. Pat has quickly shown an ability to pick up new skills and we are looking forward to seeing his skill set expand as he learns more about the construction industry.

Core Team

Our core team also remains strong this year with owner, designer and builder Matt Warner; lead designer, Bronwen Warner; lead carpenter, Seth Scudder; lead carpenter, John-Robert Chinn; and project manager, Steve Osberger. You can find out more about each of our team members HERE.
